Hello! My name is Kara. I am a UX/UI designer from Dallas, TX. I recently graduated from Baylor University (sic'em bears) with a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Business Administration. After graduation, I decided I wanted to pursue a more creative field. My goal is to solve real-world problems through user-centered design.

     Through my studies in psychology and business administration, I gained profound knowledge in areas of the human mind and behavior. Motivated by a fervent curiosity of truly understanding others and equipped with qualitative and quantitative research skills, I can analyze users’ pain points and generate creative, brand appropriate, and visually appealing design solutions. I look forward to working for a company who values the quality of their work and cares about making a positive impact on their clients’ businesses.

     When I am not designing on a screen, you can find me designing on paper, canvas, or cake. I am passionate about baking and the joy it brings the world. I love the outdoors and dogs, specifically Labrador Retrievers. My favorite movie genre is crimedy - crime and comedy (e.g. Pink Panther, Get Smart).
