Challenge
In today's digital age, while we are more connected than ever, meaningful face-to-face interactions have become less frequent. Our Community aims to bridge this gap by creating an intuitive event app that encourages people to spend more quality time together in their local areas. By simplifying the process of discovering and sharing events, Our Community fosters a sense of belonging and encourages real-world interactions, strengthening the bonds within communities and enhancing overall well-being.
Solution
Based on user interviews, we identified that the most crucial factors influencing users' decisions to attend events were time, location, and price. Our app allows users to filter these criteria, making it easier to find suitable events. Once users discover an event that interests them, they can save it, add it to their calendars, and share it with friends, thus extending the app's reach. This functionality has significantly increased users' attendance at events and fostered greater community involvement.
